MATH 235 Discrete Mathematics

This course will introduce students to the basic topics and techniques of discrete mathematics. Students will develop an understanding of the techniques, algorithms, and reasoning processes involved in the study of discrete mathematical structures. Topics may include set theory, inductive reasoning, elementary and advanced counting techniques, equivalence relations, graphs, trees, and combinatorial designs.
