MSN 5120 Health Information Systems and Nursing Technology
In this course the learner will focus on information systems and technologies that support the clinical setting. Course will provide a basic foundation of informatics, historically through current systems, used in today's healthcare setting. Learners will be introduced to topics that include Systems Life Cycles, Data Storage and Retrieval, Electronic Medical Records, and Electronic Health Records, Community Health Integration, Best Practice/Evidence Based Practice, and Current Informatics Issues.
