AT 6070 Organization and Administration in Athletic Training

This course focuses on business management principles associated with athletic training clinical practice as well as leadership and professional development. Emphasis will be placed on leadership, communication, legal issues, as well as human resources, budget facility, psychological, physical, and emotional well-being of the patient, evidence-based practice, and event management. The student will prepare a professional portfolio and practice interview technique and etiquette. This course is only available to admitted athletic training candidates. This course will expire after teach-out based on new 2022-2023 curriculum change, last expected offering Spring 2023. Fee: $75.00.
