BIO 323 Mammalian Physiology
Students in this course will explore the fundamental principles of mammalian systemic physiology, with a human physiology emphasis. Integrated connections to biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, as well as how studies in animal models have led to our current understanding of physiology, will be explored. The course is best suited for upper-level biology or biomedically oriented majors desiring to develop a deeper level of understanding of physiology, especially those preparing for future admission to graduate or pre-professional schools or careers in the zoological or biomedical sciences (including but not limited to M.S. or Ph.D., pre-PA, pre-med, pre-dental, and pre-veterinary). Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week. Fee: $75.00.
