EXSS 365 Advanced Techniques in Strength & Conditioning
This course provides candidates with advanced theory, principles, and techniques of strength and conditioning primarily in athletic populations and various sports. Course topics and discussion will include Olympic lifts, safety, power, periodization, training load, plyometrics, HIIT, overtraining, and mental preparedness. Hands-on and/or video analysis of technique will be emphasized. All objectives for this course are designed according to National Strength and Conditioning Association Standards to assist the student with preparation for their required certification exam prior to graduation.
