NUR 373 Adult Health Nursing I
Adult Health I reinforces the knowledge and skills learned in NUR 301, NUR 303, NUR 310, and NUR 327, introducing the student to basic adult health nursing concepts. Critical thinking and decision-making using the nursing process continues to be emphasized. The student learns to apply fundamental competencies and basic knowledge of clinical data, pharmacologic concepts, and assessment findings required to holistically care for clients with medical alterations. The clinical component of the course provides the student with the opportunity to care for an individual adult client based upon sound clinical decision-making and competencies. Three classroom hours and four credit hours of clinical per week (180 clinical and lab hours/semester). Fees: $760.00 testing fee and $125.00 laboratory fee.
