BIO 265 Biostatistics
This second course in a two-semester series is designed to continue to familiarize science majors with an introduction to experimental design and hypothesis testing common in natural science research. Students will be exposed to various methods of statistical tests including general linear models, generalized linear models, analysis of variance, and non-parametric statistics. Additionally, students will continue to develop the ability to analyze data using R, a statistical programming language. Special emphasis will be placed on the communication of statistical results from scientific research. Fee: $75.00.
