SPAN 113 Medical Spanish

This course is communication oriented with a functional task based approach and is designed for professionals in the healthcare field with little or no formal background in Spanish. The aim of this course is for the student to develop basic proficiency in Medical Spanish and inter-cultural competence, in order to communicate effectively with Spanish speaking patients in a variety of health care situations.
