Area I – Foundation Skills - 2 hours
FSL 101 | Foundations of Scholarship and Learning | 2 |
FSL 101 is required only for new and transferring freshmen with less than 24 credit hours. Students must earn a "C" or higher in FSL 101.
Area I - Rhetoric and Communication - 15 hours
Area I – Mathematics - 4 hours
Students must earn a "C" or higher in
MATH 121.
Area II - Arts and Humanities (choose one) - 3 hours
Area II - Literature in English (choose one) - 3 hours
Area II - The Social Sciences - 6 hours
AND Choose one from the following:
Students must earn a "C" or higher in
ECON 241.
Area II - History - 6 hours
Choose one of two sequences.

Students must earn a "C" or higher in Mathematics Core Courses.
Mathematics Electives - 9 hours
Choose nine hours from the following:
MATH 498 may be taken twice, under different topics, for up to six hours of credit to satisfy this degree requirement. Students must earn a "C" or higher in all Mathematics electives.
Other Requirements for major - 18 hours
Students must earn a "C" or higher in the Other Requirements section.
General Electives - 24-27 hours
