Degree Requirements
Area I - Foundation Skills - 2 hours
FSL 101 | Foundations of Scholarship and Learning | 2 |
FSL 101 is required for new and transferring freshmen with less than 24 credit hours. Students must earn a "C" or higher in
FSL 101.
Area I - Rhetoric and Communication - 15 hours
Area I - Mathematics (choose one) - 3-4 hours
Area II - Arts and Humanities (choose one) - 3 hours
Students must earn a "C" or higher in
ART 191.
Area II - Literature in English (choose one) - 3 hours
Students enrolled in the Entertainment Design emphasis might consider taking
ENG 216, when the course deals with film.
Area II - The Social Sciences (choose two) - 6 hours
Area II - History (choose one of two sequences) - 6 hours

Entertainment Design Requirements - 21 hours
Students must earn a "C" or higher in all Entertainment Design requirements.
Fine Arts Electives - 12-16 hours
Students take advisor recommended electives as needed, in order to fulfill the minimum of 120 semester credit hours required for graduation. These supportive electives are individually tailored to the student's areas of interest and goals.
