MSN 5100 Nursing Theoretical Foundations

In this course, learners analyze concepts and theories pertinent to the practice of professional nursing. Learners examine historical, legal, cultural, economic, and social factors that influence nursing and health care delivery. Philosophical perspectives upon the professional nursing practice are considered. Nursing theories are addressed as frameworks for practice and strategies are discussed for analyzing and managing ethical dilemmas in nursing and health care.
