GEOG 497 Field Course

This course is a supervised study in some geographical area preceded by classroom preview and concluded by a time of evaluation. Emphasis is given to the natural and cultural elements of the environment with special attention directed toward the pattern of human occupancy. This course provides an intensive period of study and research on a full-time basis. Work required will depend on the area researched and the time involved. Additional fees may be charged.
