REL 311 Biblical Survey

This course is a survey of the whole Bible including its characters, events, ideas, writers, purposes, sources, history, origins, and impact on the world. It includes the Old Testament, a study of the Jewish people and their faith, the Torah (Law) based on the Ten Commandments, the lives and teachings of the Prophets, and the poetic literature of the Writings. The New Testament study centers on the life and teachings of Jesus and the interpretations of St. Paul and the other epistle writers.
