HIS 327 History of Women, Gender, and Sexuality

This class examines how women, gender, and sexuality worked to shape North American cultures from the colonial period through the recent past. It compares these roles in many different racial and geographical contexts and addresses the commonalities and crucial differences between women's history and the dominant historical narrative in many North American societies.
