EXSS 327 Strength & Conditioning Program Design
This course assists candidates with learning how to design strength and conditioning programs. Primary emphasis is placed on athletes and active individuals. The course discusses appropriate training methods for the development of muscular strength and endurance, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. These competencies are based on current National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) guidelines and is designed to help prepare candidates for their required certification exam prior to graduation. In addition, students will be provided with experiential opportunities for learning.
