MSN 5220 Advanced Pharmacology
In this course the learner will examine the principles of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacotherapeutics of drugs that are commonly used in managing acute and chronic illnesses in adults. Importance is placed upon decision-making in therapeutic drug selection and monitoring response for diverse patients. Patient education, ethical, socio-economic, and legal issues are addressed. Additionally, practice and regulatory components of APRN prescribing is reviewed. Fee: $75.00.
