FSL 101 is required for new and transferring freshmen with less than 24 credit hours. Students must earn a "C" or higher in FSL 101 and HON 101.
Area I - Rhetoric and Communication - 9 hours
Students must earn a "C" or higher in ENG 101 and ENG 102 or HON 110.
Area I – Mathematics - 3-4 hours
Choose one from the following:
Area I - Computer Literacy - 3 hours

Area II - The Arts - 3 hours

Students must earn a "C" or higher in POLSC 223.

Area II - The Natural Sciences - 8 hours
Choose two different science disciplines from the following:
Criminal Justice Core Requirements - 36 hours
Students must earn a "C" or higher in all Criminal Justice core requirements.
Criminal Justice Electives - 12 hours
Choose four criminal justice electives at the 300 level or higher.
Students must earn a "C" or higher in Criminal Justice electives.
Political Science Requirements - 6 hours
POLSC 224 | Introduction to American State and Local Government & Politics | 3 |
AND choose any other Political Science course.
Students must earn a "C" or higher in all Political Science requirements.
Required Social Science Electives - 6 hours
Choose two social science courses at the 300 level or higher.

Students must earn a "C" or higher in all social science electives.
Declared Minor Requirements - 18-21 hours
Criminal Justice majors may choose only from the following minor programs of study:

Computational Finance
History
Mathematics
Psychology
Sociology
Any alternative minor program of study requires pre-approval by the Program Director for the Criminal Justice Program.
