AT 5610 Managing Medical Emergencies

This course provides a comprehensive approach for the identification of risk factors through preventative strategies, preparation of protective equipment and emergency action plans, environmental concerns, and recognition and care of emergency medical conditions including those that may lead to sudden death. Students will complete a supplemental clinical hours in a ride-along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This course is only available to admitted athletic training candidates. Fee: $75.00.
