ITM 5316 IT Project Management

This course follows the initial course introducing students to the basic foundations of Project Management. It focuses on connecting the principles of project management with the field of Information Technology. Students will learn how to initiate and develop IT projects while establishing the basic goals and measurements necessary to achieve results. The course will utilize managerial theories directed at utilizing information technology strategies to complete projects. The course will also focus on developing the necessary skills to track the overall efforts of the IT project to ensure completion. Time management, budget skills, and leadership strategies will be additional tools provided. Students will learn to use project management software for organizing, scheduling, and monitoring project progress. Fee: $75.00.
