BIO 223 Survey of Zoology
This course will introduce students to major phyla in the animal kingdom. The survey of these phyla will include the evolution, classification, anatomy and physiology, life cycles and ecology of selected organisms. Successful completion of this course will provide a broad overview of animals for students seeking completion of core biology requirements, and it will prepare science students for advanced courses is zoology and ecology. Three hours of lecture per week.
