MKT 373 Event Management
Event management has become a major influencing factor in brand management and competitive market stance. Today, marketing managers plan and execute events to create exchanges that satisfy the objectives of individuals and organizations. The purpose of this course is to enable the students to acquire a general knowledge about event management and to become familiar with marketing management techniques and strategies required for successful planning, promotion, implementation and evaluation of special events with a special focus on case studies related to Corporate Social Responsibility and Brand Management. Students will fain an understanding of the long term issues in event management and marketing. Students who successfully complete this course will acquire conceptual and analytical skills in strategic planning and how it relates to event management.
