The mission of the Project Management program is to provide a high-quality education that prepares students with the leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills necessary to pursue a career in project management in numerous fields. Students will learn core competencies and project management methodologies through applied and experiential learning that will prepare them to lead projects in today's global environment.
As almost every organization frequently engages in project type work, the Project Management program will empower students to pursue careers leading, planning, and overseeing projects in a wide variety of industries and disciplines. Courses in the program will also help qualify students to sit for the Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) examination, which is a credential conferred through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
