AT 5310 Therapeutic Intervention I

This course explores the concepts of designing therapeutic interventions for patients with physical dysfunctions that stem from inflammation, pain, and limited movement patterns. Principles and the implementation of comprehensive treatment plans for injuries commonly sustained by the physically active is discussed and practiced. This course will also explore evidence-based practice frameworks, psychosocial factors, physiological response to injury and healing across the lifespan, and pharmacodynamic principles. Lastly, students will learn how to assess and treat patients with therapeutic interventions. This course is only available to admitted athletic training candidates. Fee: $75.00.
