Exercise and Sport Science (3+2)
This program is intended for undergraduate students that are either freshman or transfer students. Upon the successful completion of the 5-year program, the student will earn a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science (BS) and a Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT). The Bachelor of Science degree will be granted after successful completion of the fourth year. All students will have completed the general education core and the Exercise and Sport Science major requirements by the end of the third year. The student will apply to the Athletic Training Program the spring of the third year (deadline April 1), and will graduate with the Bachelor of Science after completion of their fourth year. The remaining 29 credit hours required for the BS degree will be earned through the graduate athletic training courses earned during the fourth year (fall and spring).
The fifth year consists of 32 total credit hours (summer, fall, and spring). The MSAT is a two year consecutive program (fall, spring, summer, fall, spring) that requires continuous enrollment.

FSL 101 is required for new and transferring freshmen with less than 24 credit hours. Students must earn a "C" or higher in FSL 101 or HON 101.
