Students in this course will explore the fundamental principles of organismal systemic physiology. Integrated connections to biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, as well as how studies in animal models have led to our current understanding of physiology will be explored. The course is best suited for upper-level biology-oriented majors desiring to develop a deeper level of understanding of physiology, especially those preparing for future admission to graduate or pre-professional schools or careers in the zoological or biomedical science (including but not limited to M.S. or Ph.D., pre-PA, pre-med, pre-dental, and pre-vet). Three hours lab per week. Fee: $75.00.
