CPW 410 Advanced Multimedia Writing & Digital Publishing
This course involves core areas of study are editorial functions of a literary journal, promotional and marketing writing, internal/external audience media writing, publishing in multiple genres, study of the small presses, experience in editorial team practices, and study of a wide spectrum of professional skills involving writing in multimedia and online content. Advanced social media and website design with graphic presentation and advertising/promotional writing mastery are also a primary focus. Hands on experience through the Creative & Professional Writing program portal in WordPress, and other program sponsored publications will be expected.
