HON 398 Special Topics in Interdisciplinary Studies

This course in the Honors Program aims to bring together two or more faculty from diverse academic disciplines in a unique course format whereby students have the opportunity to engage in a learning environment that combines subject areas. The chief goal is for students to engage with the combined content in meaningful ways that leads to divergent thinking, new perspectives, and novel solutions. This course can be taught with or without a 1-credit hour lab. The lab component of the course is dependent on the focus of the course and the discretion of the faculty assigned to the course.
