POLSC 310 Congress and the Legislative Process

This course covers Congress in the context of a political subsystem. It reviews the theory and research on legislative recruitment and elections, reapportionment and districting, organizational and operational procedures and decision-making, lobbying, relations with the executive and judicial branches, and internal legislative reform.
