POLSC 324 Ethics in Politics

A study of ethics in politics. What are the standards written into the law to guide politicians and government officials? Are there Codes of Conduct and Civility Statements? The course will cover political scandals but also review significant efforts by individuals to show courage in the face of adversity. Lobbying will also be explained and reviewed along with campaign finance laws.
