PSY 324 Ethics in Psychology
This course explores the ethical theories, principles, standards, and required codes applicable to practice, assessment, and research for anyone in the field of psychology. Further, students will learn the American Psychological Association's Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct, including the general and a career-specific ethical code. Concepts such as competence, privacy and confidentiality, avoiding harm or exploitation, complain procedures, and informed consent will be discussed and applied to carious case studies to best prepare students for a career as a Psychologist.
