NUR 313 Pharmacology for LPN to BSN

This course is designed for the Licensed Practical Nurse pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. It provides the nursing student the basic principles of pharmacology and introductions to advanced principles of pharmacology focusing on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions, client safety and education. Nursing implications relative to drug effects are examined. This course provides the student with advanced knowledge to expand critical thinking skills in assessing client responses to drugs.
