NUR 371 Adult Health Nursing I

Provides a theoretical basis for responding to chronic, acute, and complex health patterns as well as specific pathophysiological processes basic to teaching/learning principles for nursing practice are introduced. Focus on application of the nursing process to meet the physiological and psychosocial needs of adults in various degrees of wellness and from varying cultural backgrounds. Continued development of communication skills, professional development, ethical/legal, and economic issues. Three classroom hours and nine laboratory/clinical hours per week.
