NUR 372 Adult Health Nursing II
A continuation of NUR 371, this course provides a theoretical basis for responding to chronic or acute and complex health patterns as well as specific pathophysiological processes. Focus of the course is application of the nursing process to meet the physiological and psychosocial needs of adults in various degrees of wellness and from varying cultural backgrounds. Continued development of communication skills, professional development of the nurse, ethical/legal, and economic issues. Three classroom hours; nine laboratory/clinical hours per week.
