ENG 453 Teaching of English Composition

This is a course that introduces theory, research, and practices that inform effective writing and pedagogy. We'll read, discuss, and write about composing and the teaching of writing and grammar. We'll develop our own theory of practice and reflect on ones that currently exist. The course has two central focuses: the assessing and teaching of writing.
