NUR 443 Nursing Research for LPN to BSN
This course is designed for the Licensed Practical Nurse pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing. This course provides knowledge of the basic elements of the research process, including the ability to critique research and apply the evidence to nursing practice. Ethical conduct of research and advocacy for human subjects is discussed. Common research methodologies are discussed, and research studies critiqued. Students participate in scholarly inquiry as a team member in a semester-long literature review communicating their scholarly findings through a poster presentation at a scholarly gathering.
