COM 110 Introduction to Communication

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of human communication. Emphasis is placed on helping students explore the many roles that communication plays in their daily lives. After an overview of basic terminology, principles and theories, the course focuses on verbal and non-verbal communication, listening, communication and culture, small group communication, and leadership.
