COM 220 Interpersonal Communication
The course explores theories and practice in verbal and nonverbal communication in the context of interpersonal relationships. This course emphasizes improving interpersonal skills and increasing communication competence in everyday social exchanges and in the workplace in specific. In addition to interpersonal communication theory, this course explores barriers and bridges to communication, effective listening, intimacy, and distance in relationships, improving communication climates, and managing interpersonal conflict in the workplace.
