COM 497 Internship in Media and Communications

The Internship in Media and Communications allows a junior or senior student to apply skills learned through classes and other experiences where he/she has to work directly under the employer (such as newspapers, television stations, radio stations, graphic arts/web-design houses, publishing houses, or other businesses). An internship is not part of an academic course, but is the academic course. It is designed to give the student practical career related experience in an organizational setting that is appropriate for their career interest.  Supervision is coordinated with the Office of Career Services and Internships and a faculty sponsor.
