COM 260 Crisis Communication

This course will examine crisis-related theories and crisis communication within various crisis contexts. Effective crisis communication strategies will be evaluated as related to a variety of different crisis types, such as organizational reputation crisis, natural disasters, public health crises, disease outbreaks, environmental disasters, crisis associated with workplace violence, and others. Communication strategies involving pre-crisis, crisis, and post-crisis stages will also be examined.
