NUR 301 Dosage Calculation
Dosage Calculations focuses on medication administration safety and dosage calculations for client care in the clinical setting. This course includes a review of relevant basic mathematical calculations; an introduction to systems of measurement; an introduction to methods of medication administration; and dosage calculations for oral, parenteral, and intravenous medications for clients across the lifespan. This course also prepares the student to use a Medication Administration Record and read medication labels safely. 1 classroom hour per week.
