PSY 5320 Foundations of Applied Psychology
This course provides an overview of various subfields within the scientific discipline, emphasizing such applied psychology areas as learning and cognition, intelligence, social psychology, personality theories, and motivation and emotion as they relate to industrial/organizational settings. This course also covers professional competencies needed to work in the field of industrial/organizational psychology. Students will be expected to assess their own current work or field experiences through the perspective of these competencies to improve their own job performance. Fee: $75.00.
